So far the series kicked off with ARIBAND’s Ari Charbonneau. Ari hails from Worcester Massachusetts where she IS Worcester’s organic RAWK station, raw and “off da cuff”. Ari is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist that genre hops. She often weaves in some of your favorite lyrics and licks from popular songs within her original works, with her own special additions. The second in the series was a conversation with indie rocker, Angela Edge. Angela hails from Fayetteville, Arkansas and is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who produces every aspect of the music she records. She often plays all of the instruments in the tunes, and layers them with her voice. These creations are not to be missed. She has recently released her new single, “Monster”, which features her playing guitar and base. She is joined by Derek Weiand on percussion on this track.
The third installment in the Women in Music series, was with powerhouse blues, inspirational artist, and Americana singer/songwriter Shirley McAfee is Platinum G.
